The new year ushers in a new iteration for us. Since 2004, Nulab has been helping teams everywhere communicate and collaborate to reach their business goals. As our products evolve, so do we. And the time has come for us to reveal our “NU” company image.
Over the last few months, we’ve been working on completely revitalizing our brand to better reflect the modern, seamless experience we aim to bring to our collaboration ecosystem. And today, we’re excited to share with you a huge step in our journey: the new Nulab website.
As you can see, we’ve revamped our entire site—from design, to robust Product and Solutions pages, to a more user-friendly interface. Our goal was to make our companies home website confidently represent the clean, collaborative experience we bring to our products. Here’s how we did it.
The old Nulab logo was hard to read over the key lime green, and the typeface felt dated. The company needed a new logo that was bold and easy to recognize with a modern feel.
Paying homage to the complementary ‘n’ and ‘u’ shapes that defined our old logo, our new logo plays with those same recurring arches, but with a cleaner execution. Within the letters of our logo, you’ll see the arched shapes that form our company name; some are upright, upside down, or sideways, but they come together to lend more consistency not only to the logo but to the brand image we want to convey.
Updating our main logo also meant giving our product logos the same overhaul. Our previous product logos lacked consistency and weren’t necessarily created with the greater Nulab vision in mind.
This go around, we wanted to be sure that all of our product logos matched the look and feel of our company brand. Users should know that Backlog, Cacoo, and Typetalk are unmistakably Nulab products.
In-depth product pages
Before this change, you had to exit our main website and go to our individual product websites to learn detailed information about each of our products. We’ve brought all of that information into our main website, updated the messaging to reflect where our products are at today and made it easy to navigate between all three without ever having to leave Nulab’s main website.
Our individual product websites are still there, and those will be getting updated, too. But now, you can learn everything there is to know about Nulab and our products right on the main website. No more jumping between URL’s or opening multiple tabs to get all the information you need. If you’ve got questions, the Nulab website has the answer.
Solutions pages for your industry
Because our products are so powerful, they can be useful to a wide range of industries and businesses. We recognize that the easiest way for new and existing customers to get the most out of our products is to see how our services apply specifically to them.
With new Solutions pages dedicated to Software & Technology, Advertising & Marketing, Healthcare, Financial Services, Education, Professional Services, Retail, and Manufacturing, we’re giving our most popular customer industries exactly what they need: concise, clear solutions tailored to their needs.
Sleek design and simpler user interface
The NU color scheme is made of purple hues; a grayish purple for a neutral effect and a bright purple to add vibrancy. The overall color palette complements the individual product logo colors in a fresh, artistic way.
Our previous website was created back in 2013, a time when our company’s style and products were at a different stage. After innovations in the world of design and user experience, it was time to step up. The new website reflects these changes with its fresh look, clear navigation, and targeted information users and web visitors should know about us.
We listened to our users, we listened to our research, and we used our intuition to create a new brand experience we hope makes everyone happy. Most importantly, we kept the fun, creative, and collaborative spirit that makes Nulab unique.
